Applicability of general terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to classes & workshops I provide at my studio in Westeinde.

Classes

All prices include 21% tax

Payment for classes secures a place in that particular class. Changing time/dates for classes is possible, but only when agreed upon with the teacher - it is not guaranteed.

On payment of the classes, a student may postpone a class ONCE in the period of the 10 class set. The commencement date is the date in which the student starts the set of classes.

Postponement of further classes is at the discretion of the teacher only, and only given, if at least, a 2-week or more, notification period is given.

Upon making a ceramic object, 2 weeks is an approximate period given to the slow drying process. After which time, the  item will be bisqued (first firing). Then the object will be sanded, cleaned, & decorated &/or glazed by the student. Then the second firing will take place. This will happen once the kiln has enough objects to warrant a firing. Once finished, the object will go to its final destination - if any sanding need to be done on the bottom of the object, this is the responsibility of the student.

Workshop

Payment for workshop is 6 weeks prior to the date of the workshop commencement date.

Canceling a workshop or course is, of course, possible however, €10 will be deducted for administration costs. Canceling a workshop 0 (the day of the workshop) - 15 days before the workshop, 50% of the total cost of the workshop will be charged.

Once made in clay, the teacher will take care of the sanding, cleaning, firing, glazing processes. Each ceramic object will take approx 3 - 4 weeks before it is completely finished.
